Having spent my entire working life as a lawyer, I came late to sculpture.  I progressed from evening classes in 2009 to the part time Certificate course in Sculpture at the Art Academy in Southwark.  For almost 2 years I concentrated on life studies until the final term when I began to explore a more creative approach.  In the following academic year, I attended creative sculpture classes and began to move towards an artistic language of my own.  Working in clay and wax for casting, mostly in bronze, I find that I am particularly interested in movement and rhythm expressed through the human figure.
