Carol Bryant

Carol Bryant is a sculptor and pastel painter. Taking her inspiration from African and English wildlife, her works include a wide variety of wildlife sculptures and pastels, and commissioned pet portraits in both media.

She has studied African animals extensively in the wild in Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Namibia, and in captivity at conservation centres both in South Africa and Namibia, and has worked as a volunteer with cheetah and wild dogs at the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre - De Wildt at Hartbeespoort near Pretoria.

After starting her sculpture studies at Sunningwell School of Art she has studied more recently with Rosamund de Tracy Kelly ARBS at her studio in Chesterton, Oxfordshire. She was the winner of the Best Sculpture prize at the MIWAS 2014 International Wildlife Art Exhibition.
