William Hoodless

William Hoodless is a largely self taught sculptor who creates figurative sculptures in clay and wax for bronze or resin casting.

He is inspired by the athletic capabilities of the human body and uses knowledge gained from his degree in anatomical sciences and many years of elite sport training, to evoke the dynamism of athletic poses.

When sculpting a sporting figure he tries to understand the fundamentals of the movements involved in order to give a sense of energy to the sculpture.
