Juliet Simpson has made sculptures obsessively from childhood. Her work is basically figurative, and she uses figurative images to comment on life and culture, or just to celebrate being alive.
The lockdowns gave her an exceptional amount of TIME and a productive couple of years, in spite of being not up and coming but at 87 down and going.
Her sculptures are cast in bronze or resin bronze in small editions, and others, usually unique, are made in a variety of medium.
