I trained and worked as a stained glass maker in my native Hungary. I moved to the U.K. in 2008 and started to create contemporary glass art in 2D and 3D. I enjoy experimenting with new ideas and developing technical solutions. I love sharp contrasts and enjoy stepping away from glass as the primary medium and combine it with other media, such as metal and ceramic.
I am lucky to be renting a studio in a marvellous garden in Buckland, Surrey which helps me clear my mind and inspires me to create. The sea, especially where the water runs into land is another important source of inspiration for me. I also like to make pieces that have a historic or art based theme.
I have been doing Surrey Artists Open Studios since 2010 and have been shortlisted for the Baines Surrey Artist of the Year exhibitions three times winning the third prize in 2011. I joined Surrey Sculpture Society in 2013 and have had works on display at a number of SSS exhibitions.
