Tension and Grace.
Christina started studying figurative sculpture, studying in the evenings at the Mary Ward Centre. She has worked in clay, wax, direct plaster and now works predominantly in steel and copper wire, a medium suitable for indoors and out. Sculptures are further developed photographically to produce limited edition prints.
She has exhibited with Surrey Sculpture Society since 2005 and additionally has exhibited in Blackheath Concert Halls, Stephen Lawrence Gallery and Red Biddy. Sculpture trails outside the Surrey Sculpture Society have included Newby Hall in Yorkshire and Hillier Gardens.
