Congratulations to Fine Art Foundation student Gerard Floyd whose piece Be, Longing scooped the £500 Surrey Sculpture Prize 2018.

The prize was judged by Diana Pattenden & Laura Caratto who praised the theme and craftsmanship of the work which is made of plaster, wood and steel and is based on a child’s game about understanding where things belong.

There was also runner up mentions to Sculpture Diploma students Felicity Whitehouse and Jo Holt.
