See a huge commercial 3D printer in action and find out about 3D printing.
Adrian Potts, managing director of Buzz Productions will:
• demonstrate 3D printers at his artist friendly workshop in the centre of Dorking.
• talk about IT programmes used in preparation
• show how his workshop helps artists.
Bernard Miles Pearson, SSS member, and artist will discuss the scope for artists in using this technology. Artists familiar with using 3D technology will join the discussion in the second section. We shall explore the possibilities and scope for your artistic projects, and include 3D scanning.
Register by Sunday, 14th November 14th. If you bring a guest please register their name as well. Directions will follow.
Cost: £5 for members and £10 for guests including refreshments. Parking is available on the industrial estate. Covid 19 safety regulations will apply.
