Carol Orwin is to give a demonstration of her methods of patination. She will cover safety aspects, the importance of “livers” and how the different chemicals affect the surface colour, the order of application and how to wax successfully.

Carol Orwin is to give a demonstration of her methods of patination. She will cover safety aspects, the importance of “livers” and how the different chemicals affect the surface colour, the order of application and how to wax successfully.

This event was postponed from April 18 2020 and the members who had already booked have been allocated places as a priority.

The demonstration will take place in the print studio at Ochre from 2-4.30pm, with kind permission of Jai Sanders and Anne Robson. Refreshments will be available.

Access for those attending.

There is a phone number posted on the front doors to Lockwood Centre. Please phone it and someone will open the door for you. Parking can take place in the main car park and you are asked to collect a car park permit from the print studio to display in your car. 

We shall be in touch with those who have places to give details of how to apply for the chemicals for Carol to supply on the day of the demonstration. This will be a private arrangement with Carol.
