We are delighted to be able to offer you a new and exciting opportunity to exhibit your sculptures as part of our confirmed calendar for 2021.

In 2019, Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens opened its doors after a closure of 10 years. This magnificent Grade 1 listed garden was nearly lost forever and has been the subject of the largest garden restoration in England and possibly Europe. These spectacular and ancient gardens are now open for the public to enjoy once again.

Come and help the Society put on an exciting new sculpture trail at Leonardslee where the stunning gardens are continuing to be restored. The management team and owners are very enthusiastic, and aim to protect this magnificent heritage so that future generations get to enjoy these beautiful green spaces, and all the flora and fauna within. These stunning gardens are perfect for us to show off our fantastic SSS sculptures in a new location for our loyal fans to visit. It is also a great opportunity for you as an artist to present your work to a new audience.

There are many intimate paths and wider vistas to cater for different scales of work. The ground is quite sloped so creative solutions for installations may be needed. It has a large free car park, refreshment area, a large lobby, fancy afternoon teas, a doll’s house museum and real live wallabies! The SSS are presenting a sculpture trail designed to compliment a newly installed trail by permanent artist, Anton Smit. The Society trail will wind round inside the gardens taking us up and down some beautiful paths and areas. Medium to large outdoor works are requested to put on an exciting trail in this new location for the SSS.
