The power of art is well known to transform. The Landmark Arts Centre is now in its 25th year of transformation from a 19th Century Church of gothic proportions. It is a beautiful, large space with vaulted ceilings.
For a whole week the centre will be transformed into a gallery housing the work of the members of the Surrey Sculpture Society. The range of sculptures will be diverse in size and in various materials including glass, metal, bronze, resins, clay, stone and found objects. Paintings, sketches, 2D art will adorn the walls. There will be sculpture workshops and demonstrations for the public to enrol and an education programme for local schools visiting.
Entry is free, embracing the ‘Art for All’ philosophy. This means you can make several visits and truly immerse yourself in the art for a transforming experience. All the art will be for sale.
