Yvonne was born in Barbados and studied sculpture at the Heatherley School of Fine Art, London. She has worked on many commissions in England, and also in Malaysia and Hong Kong where she lived for many years. Her most recent commission was The Madonna and Child (4’ 6”) for the Church of St Bede in Basingstoke.  Yvonne has exhibited with the Society of Portrait Sculptors in London, and in galleries in London, Virginia Water, Sunningdale, Stockbridge and Somerset. As a member of Surrey Sculpture Society she has exhibited regularly at RHS Wisley, Borde Hill, Savill Gardens etc., and as a member of the Society of Women Artists in the Mall Galleries. Earlier this year she exhibited in the Sculpture in Paradise Exhibition organised by Philip Jackson in the Cloisters at Chichester Cathedral.

Yvonne works mostly in clay or plaster for casting in bronze and various resins. She is  a figurative sculptor but recently has been experimenting with more contemporary designs and with the positive and negative shapes created.
