Margaret is a figurative sculptor, working mainly in clay to cast in various resins. She prefers to work from life models, and enjoys the challenge of portraiture, but also draws inspiration from classical and gothic sculpture, mythology and folklore.
 
As well as sculpting and exhibiting, Margaret is a partner in Lingwood Samuel Art, which enables her to put her past experience of co-ownership of a small gallery into the organisation of mixed art exhibitions at different venues. Margaret is a past Chairman of Surrey Sculpture Society and a member of Guildford Art Society and Farnham Art Society.
