GC=Guildford Central, GS=Guildford South, D=Dorking, E=East, SE=Southeast, SW=Southwest, W=West, NW=Northwest, NE=Northeast, Ox=Oxford
The Society is organised into 10 regional groups under the overall direction of the central committee. Groups run local events that reflect the aims of the Society and are complementary to larger events staged for the whole Society. These latter events, such as the summer and Christmas parties, provide opportunities for members from all groups to meet:
Group activities include:
- Demonstrations by specialists, eg on patination, open to all members
- Local exhibitions
- Meetings to exchange ideas
- Promotion
- Social events
