I took up sculpture after a career in the chemical industry, and trained at classes in Havant and Farnham.
I enjoy working in a variety of materials – including stone, glass, wood and Perspex – to create carvings, constructions and painted reliefs. My work is mainly abstract, or abstracted from natural forms. The pictures shown here give examples of my work in Perspex ('Wax and Wane'), stone ('Pulling together') and wood ('Roundel').
I am a member of the Haslemere Art Society as well as the Surrey Sculpture Society. I have exhibited and sold works in Portsmouth, Chichester, Guildford and other locations in the South.
