I come originally form Edinburgh and now live in Dorset. The focus of my work is figurative sculpture. I love the challenge of capturing some of the vitality and expression of the living form. The subjects of my work include the female form, dancers and children at play.

The flamenco sculptures were inspired by a famouse flamenco dancer on tour in the UK, a fascinating combination of flowing fabric and strong body movement. We live by the sea and so the summer months are full of inspiration for sculptures of children playing on the beach.

I work my original sculptures in either wax or clay, from which they are then cast in bronze resin. Wax and clay each have their own textures and flexibility making them appropriate for different subjects and challenges.

I show my work as part of the Dorset and Purbeck Art Weeks and also in galleries in Dorset and Devon.
